San Francisco Urban Design Guidelines
The proposed Urban Design Guidelines are intended to create a coordinated and consistent design review process and promote a more thoughtful and holistic approach to city building. Organized into sections of: site design, architecture, and public realm, they are meant to provide guidance on San Francisco's design review for planners, developers, commissioners, and the community. (2013 - 2018)
Context: Over the last few years our team has consolidated the many design guideline documents in the city to find the redundancies and consistent goals among each of them. From this research we are able to create a document that can be applied to all non-residential districts for the core design values of San Francisco.
